Rieslings to be tastedWines to Be Tasted:

Geierslay Vertigo Riesling

The Vertigo Riesling Feinherb from Geierslay is wonderfully aromatic, with enticing scents of stone fruits. The palate is alive with flavors of white peach and apricot, accented by a light citrus zest. The slight off-dry flavors are perfectly balanced with a lively acidity that will keep you reaching for another sip. This wine is perfect as an aperitif and pairs well with hors d’oeuvres.

Lauer Barrel X Riesling

“Barrel X” is winemaker Florian Lauer’s vision of an ideal slightly off-dry (feinherb) Saar Riesling. Comparable to a “Bourgogne Blanc” in Burgundy, it is sourced from multiple vineyards across four Saar villages: Ayl, Saarburg, Wawern, and Wiltingen. Each location contributes unique characteristics: fruit and power from Ayl and Wawern, racy acidity from Saarburg, and spice from Wiltingen. This wine offers tremendous joy and zing, making it an excellent introduction to Lauer’s Rieslings and the Saar region.

Hild Elbling Trocken

This Upper Mosel wine showcases the Elbling grape’s signature acidity. Undergoing malolactic fermentation for added roundness, it spends 9-18 months on the lees, with a touch of sugar added before being disgorged, similar to Champagne. The result is a sparkling wine that combines the grape’s lively acidity with a creamy texture.

Roterfaden & Rosswag “Terraces” Red

This premium dry red wine from Wurttemberg, Germany, features notes of red berry and cherry, balanced by mocha, vanilla, and tea aromas. This complex and full-bodied wine is perfect for a special meal. The story of this region and its winemakers adds an extra layer of enjoyment to this exquisite wine.
